Sketch of the Day | Congreso

Sketch of the Day 2-15-2010: Congreso

A few days ago the power went out in our apartment building so, with computer and home sitting silent and black, I went outside and sketched the Congreso building. It is a structure I see everyday and nearly everyday I think "man I gotta paint or draw that big badass green dome." Thank you "blackout" for making me sit down and finally draw the mutha'ucka.

Currently (still) Reading:

Currently Listening To:
Song: Mutha'uckas (iTunes)
Artist: Flight of the Conchords (myspace)

Glad you got the message! 3 years...that's a good chunk of time. It's been almost 2 for us, although this will probably be the year we head back. Feel free to add me as a friend on Facebook. Always good to other Americans living here in BA.

Hey dude. Not sure what your server situation is like...

The lightbox application is a really easy cool way to view pix. I noticed that any image I click on in your site/blog opens another tab. It's kind of annoying... Could just be me.

Anyhow... My blog uses lightbox.Any image in the post is opened in the page with a "next/back" hover state on the image. Bkgnd is greyed out until image(s) are closed.

I think you asked about this before. If you're still interested in it, just google "lightbox blog" or something like that. Should get a hit back on it.

Totally great advice, and I was actually thinking about that a few days ago, but was unsure how to implement it. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. This weekend I will probably try to get that up and running.
